South Lake is a resort village on the shores of Buffalo Pound Lake, in the Rural Municipality of Marquis No. 191 in Saskatchewan's Census Division No. 7.
The community incorporated as a resort village on January 1, 1989. Today it is run by an elected municipal council and an appointed administrator.
